Position Info

Come help us provide top tier engineering support to AF-DCGS, by contributing to the creation of a system that will automate the distribution of a suite of critical analysis tools, to support intelligence analysts in providing timely and acurate assessments, and so ensure a rapid response to constantly changing threats to our nations security.

Job Duties:

Virtualize and automate installation and distribution of a suite of intel analysis tools.
Automate system builds and continuos configuration management.
Automate patching and application deployments across many environments.
Deployment of virtualized and automated system builds to multiple sites.
Ensure that our deployed system meets or exceeds customer expectations.


BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience required)
Thorough knowledge of Linux, specifically CentOS/RHEL, systemd experience a plus!
Experience with cloud infrastructure and virtualization management technologies (VMware, XenServer)
Experience with production deployment, monitoring and operational support
Systems automation and configuration management experience (Puppet).
Application virtualization experience (Docker).
Working knowledge of Internet Protocols (FTP, SSH, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work in a geographically distributed team environment.
8570 Compliant certificate a must.

Requirements Summary

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE or RHCSA) certification preferred
Shell scripting using bash
Experience in Python, Perl, Ruby or equivalent.
XenServer virtualization experience. 

Clearance Required:

Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
